Zip-Chem's Aerosol Grease D-5933NS - BMS 3-33 Approved
Zip Chem.jpg Zip-Chem’s D-5933NS multipurpose airframe grease has just been added to Boeing’s BMS 3-33 as a Type 2 (aerosol) product. D-5933NS is an aerosolized version of Shell’s Aeroshell 33 grease. It’s ability to provide enhanced corrosion resistance and high load-carrying capacity is due to it being produced with a synthetic base oil; one which utilizes a lithium complex thickener.
Zip-Chem’s D-5933NS is also approved to MIL-PRF- 23827C Ty 1.
The advantages of providing an approved multipurpose airframe grease as an aerosol are:
Less waste – each pass yields a film thickness between 200-300 microns
Even grease coating - given a consistent amount of grease being applied
Aerosol package maintains integrity and reliability of the grease
No threat of contamination and point of use efficiency
Zip Chem D-5933NS.jpg D-5933NS can be used where drawings or the maintenance manuals allow the use of hand or brush applications of bulk grease. It should not be used to replace lubrication achieved by grease gun application through zerk fittings.
In use it’s non chlorinated, non flammable propellant vaporizes leaving only the lubricant. And finally when also utilizing Zip-Chem’s Formit spray attachments you can also apply Zip-Chem’s D-5933NS to difficult to access areas easier.

AEROSHELL Grease 33 is our newest generation multi-purpose synthetic grease. It is specifically designed to lubricate a wide range of applications and operating conditions on commercial aircraft. It is approved for Boeing’s BMS 3-33 specification and it covers the operating temperature range between –73 °C and +121 °C.
